PREPARATION AND PRESENTATION OF WINE

The white sparkling wine JACQUES PELVAS is produced from the white grapes varietals Ugni-Blanc and Colombard, grown within vineyards of the Var department, in the south of France. The aromatic qualities of Ugni-Blanc and Colombard are highly appreciated by wine lovers everywhere. These two varietals, in particular, enjoy a well-deserved reputation as the very essence behind many great white wines. Quality sparkling wines JACQUES PELVAS are created through a well determined winemaking process. To obtain fine and aromatic wines, with good acidity, and an ideal alcohol content, the "VINS BREBAN" company has long worked in close collaboration with its winemaking partners to establish very strict vinification specifications. Such standards determine the ideal date of harvest, the degree of careful vinification at low temperatures, and proper yeasting. Later those fine and aromatic wines, with good acidity, and an model alcohol content, are subjected to a secondary fermentation in aging tanks for up to 30 days. Then the wine is filtered and bottled for shipment.
