PREPARATION AND PRESENTATION OF WINE
Rosé wines BO RIVAGE are pale-colored, orange pink, characterized by their freshness, rich scents of their native terraces. The most prized of the AOP Bandol grape varietal Mourvèdre provides these rosé wines with their specific character. The intensity of Mourvedre aromas and the antioxidant power of this grape allying with the fruity Grenache and with the fresh Cinsault, make the rosé wines rich, and full-bodied, as illustrated by BO RIVAGE. The wine is obtained by direct pressing and has capacity to age well. One can appreciate the good performance after several years of conservation. The AOP Bandol is one of the oldest appellations in the Provence region. The vineyard covers eight villages around the town of Bandol situated on lime soil of some 1100 ha. Rosé wines BO RIVAGE have a meticulous aging preparation throughout winter and are placed on the market starting from the 1st March following the harvest. Elaborated from the same varietals as red wines of AOP Bandol - Mourvedre, Grenache and Cinsault, these rosé wines are rich on silica elements, and can be obtained only on low yields of maximum 40 hl / ha.
