DOMAINE PONT DE CAGNOSC wines come from the AOP Côtes de Provence, the largest of the Provence appellation. Its geographic range covers 85 municipalities of three Mediterranean departments: VAR, Bouches-du-Rhone and Alpes-Maritimes. With a certain diversity of soils, the whole area is under the typical influence associated with the Mediterranean climate of Provence. The vineyard of AOP Côtes de Provence covers about 20,000 hectares. DOMAINE PONT DE CAGNOSC wines are produced on a 20ha vineyard situated on two sides of the Maures hills. The northern part of Maures plain is known for providing powerful rosé wines of memorable character. The soil throughout the surrounding area is mainly composed of clay and limestone. DOMAINE PONT DE CAGNOSC rosé wines are produced from Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan, and Syrah varietals. Such wines are prepared by racking and fermented at controlled temperatures. The wines from this vineyard are produced following specifications established by Vins Breban company, which enjoys exclusivity in its marketing and distribution.
