PREPARATION AND PRESENTATION OF WINE

The rose wine DOMAINE SAINTE ANNE is the result of traditional blend of AOP Coteaux Varois: Grenache and Cinsault, complemented by a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignan. The vineyard Domaine Sainte Anne is located near St. Maximin in Provence, Var Department. The area covers about 8 ha territory resting upon a mixed clay limestone soil. Grapes are harvested by hand, followed by a long fermentation period at a controlled temperature (16°C). Domaine St Anne is a part of the AOP Coteaux Varois en Provence, the newest of the Provence appellations. This name consists of 28 dynamic municipalities at the heart of the Var around Brignoles. Sprawling over 1600 hectares and benefiting from the mild Mediterranean climate, the vineyard of AOP Coteaux Varois produces approximately 100,000 hectoliters per year. The AOP Coteaux Varois wines have quite attractive dark rose color, and are mainly produced by a bleeding process of vinification.
