PREPARATION AND PRESENTATION OF WINE
DOMAINE DE LA COLOMBE rosé wine is produced from the Grenache and Cinsault grape varietals, which are grown in the vineyards of the Var department, in the south of France. Located in the vicinity of Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume village, the vineyard covers approximately 30ha. Situated at an altititude between 360 and 420 meters above sea level, the surrounding soils are mainly comprised of a mixture of clay, limestone, bauxite, and marble sands such as those common to the Sainte Victoire area. IGP Country Wines like the DOMAINE DE LA COLOMBE, according to French regulations, come from a particular department or other officially designated area. Produced from the best grapes from their area of origin, grape varietals must satisfy all regulatory conditions to ensure that standards of production quality, such as limited yields per hectare, and pre-market testing, etc.
