AOP Bandol Les Cannisses red wine goes well with fresh desserts like strawberry tarts.
Preparation - 10 min, Baking - 20 minutes. Serving for 4 persons: 200 g puff pastry made with "pure butter", fresh or frozen * 350g of fresh, fragrant, strawberries * 2 cc jelly currants * 150g of Mascarpone cheese * 10 g butter for the skillet.
Preheat oven to 220°C/(Th 7/8) convection.
Spread fresh butter on the skillet. Spread flour on the surface of the baking sheet, then roll out the puff pastry to a thickness of 1 to 2 mm.
Place pastries on the greased baking sheet. Prick pastries with a fork to prevent the dough from expanding during cooking. Slide the baking sheet into the oven for 12-13 minutes.
Wash and rinse whole fresh strawberries, then remove leaves and any stalks. Cut strawberries into strips. Remove tart from oven and let it cool to room temperature.
Melt currant jelly in a small saucepan. Apply currants jelly and Mascarpone cheese to the pastry. Place sliced strawberries on the Mascarpone cheese. Let dessert tart cool and serve at room temperature.
