AOP Côtes de Provence "DOMAINE LES GRÈS" rosé wine nicely compliments a "Russian" salad.
Cooking - 2 h. For four (4) servings: 6 medium size potatoes * 4 eggs * a mixture of cooked peas and carrots (canister of 250g) * cucumber * 5-7 small cucumber pickles * 400g of sausage "Cervelas" (or cooked meat) * 1 onion * 1 fresh "Granny" style apple * 6 tablespoons olive oil * 6 tablespoons mayonnaise (Benedicta) * salt and freshly ground pepper.
Boil the potatoes for about 35min and eggs 10 min. Let the potatoes and eggs cool to room temperature, then peel them. For the sauce, mix 6 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 6 tbsp of olive oil. Stir well to make it homogeneous.
Cut boiled potatoes, eggs, cucumber, small pickles, sausage "Cervelas" (or cooked meat), onion and apple into small cubes. Add the peas, carrots and sauce. Mix and allow to cool for 1 hour in the refrigerator. If you prefer cooked meat, prepare it the day before the meal. To do this, boil it at least 1 hour, let cool and then cut into small cubes.
